In fact, there are no traditional numbers of any kind, eliminating the concept of 1-iron through 9-iron. There is no 6-iron in the new Hogan scheme. What Koehler is doing is simple and perhaps revolutionary. People are really interested in what we are doing.” Koehler, speaking on opening day of the show at the Orange County Convention Center, said quietly, “We’ve heard from golfers all over the world. The irons are named Fort Worth 15 while the wedges are named TK 15, and both are forged from 1025 carbon steel. Here at the PGA Merchandise Show, Koehler ended months of speculation by lifting the veil on a modern incarnation of Hogan irons and wedges.
